According to the British Medical Association, BAME people have been disproportionately affected by Covid-19, with age and specific underlying conditions (e.g. diabetes) associated with more severe illness.
This highlights the importance of testing for Covid, as frequently as possible, especially if you have diabetes.
You can currently get a free NHS Covid test
Book a visit to a test site to have the test today. Test sites are open 7 days a week.
Alternatively, you can order a home test kit by calling 119 – you will need an email address to do this.
You can also ask for a courier to collect your test once you have done it. These kits are only for people with symptoms.
