Board of trustees

The board of trustees have overall responsibility for the management of the charity. The board is the primary governing body. The trustees work collectively as a board and take decisions at formal board meetings, which happen several times a year. Occasionally, the board may set up sub-committees that focus on particular areas of work or projects which support the charity’s objectives.
